News of Note for the ANGLER Community

*BAY BASE IS COMING!!* A Bay Base program has been approved beginning in August, 2010 for students at Deer Point Elementary. Information will be forthcoming.....

The Deer Point Elementary website is under construction. Current events and curriculum pages are being added as soon as possible. If you have a question and can't find the answer here, please contact us.   

The first School Advisory Council meeting was held Monday, March 8th. The council decided to include fine arts, both music and art, in the school's curriculum. The next meeting of the SAC will be Monday, April 12th at 6:00. Come help us make the decisions that impact your child!  

If you would like to serve our students by participating as a Volunteer, S.A.C. member, or as part of our Parent Involvement Team, please contact us!

Directions Minimize

From Hwy 231, go west on Hwy 2321 towards Deer Point Dam.  The school will be approximately two miles on the left side of the highway.

From Hwy 77, go east on Hwy 2321.  The school will be on the right, approximately one mile after crossing Deer Point Dam.

Dress Code Minimize

Tops:  Shirts should be a solid royal blue, white, or kelly green.  T-shirts are acceptable (no tanks or spaghetti straps).  A small manufacturer's trade mark is acceptable.  Polo/golf shirts with collar or collared dress shirt with sleeves (no cap sleeves) are acceptable.
Bottoms:  Bottoms can be khaki, navy blue or plain blue jeans.  Shorts, skirts or dresses must be no shorter than five inches above the knee caps as measured standing up (K-5 students may wear jumpers).  Dresses with sleeves must be one of the school's chosen solid colors.
Shoes:  Shoes must have closed toes and closed backs.  Sandals with back or back strap are acceptable.  
Sweaters/Sweatshirts:  These must be one of the approved 3 solid colors.  Jackets/coats may be any color.
