Tommy Smith Pledge Minimize

         TOMMY SMITH PLEDGE

 I pledge to TommySmith  Elementary
To be the best student that I can be
It is my desire for all to know
That I want to be
SAFE
wherever I go
I will do for others what I expect
To always be  kind and have
RESPECT
I will show everyone that I am capable
Of being a person who is
RESPONSIBLE
Each day I have a brand new start
To take the challenge to do my part
I will act in a way for others to see
That being SAFE, RESPECTFUL, and RESPONSIBLE begins with me.

School Announcements Minimize

   2009 - 2010 Yearbooks:
From now until March 15th our PTO will be collecting orders for our yearbook.  The cost of the yearbook is $20.  Please make checks payable to "Tommy Smith PTO".  We will not be ordering extras so please be sure to order now if you want one.
  School Clothing Sale:
The PTO is collecting gently used school uniforms for a clothing sale to be held in the Spring.  Please bring clean and usable items such as polos, jeans, khakis, belts and shoes to our TSE office or Media Center.
Pennies for Patients:

Tommy Smith Panthers:  We are collecting Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters and Dollars to help the Leukemia Foundation.  Every coin helps!!  Last year Mr. Stockstill's class collected $475.25 and received lunch from Olive Garden.  Mrs. Bolinger's class collected $377.41 and received a $100 gift card from Walmart.  Who will collect the most money this year?  THE RACE IS ON!

Illness:
A child who has been ill with a fever should NOT return to school until there has been no fever for 24 hours without the aid of Tylenol or other fever reducers.
 Healthy Panthers:
As we celebrate during this holiday season, please remember that Tommy Smith Elementary prefers that foods or treats sent for classroom and school functions be purchased or single-wrapped items. We appreciate your help in providing a safe and healthy environment for our students!
