PARENTS OF ALL AHS STUDENTS.PLEASE MARK YOUR CALENDARS AND JOIN US FOR THE JANUARY SAC MEETING!
WHEN: Monday, January 12th, at 5:15 p.m.
WHERE: Arnold High School
WHAT IS SAC?
The AHS Advisory Council is a link between the school and the stakeholders in the local community. The stakeholders are PARENTS, business people, community members, students, professional educators and other school staff. The majority (at least 51%) of
council members must be non-school employees. SAC is a resource to the school and school principal, Keith Bland. The term “advisory” is intended to mean: assist, suggest, recommend, inform and consult. The investment in time is small but the return on your investment in our school is great.
Come and share ideas, suggestions and recommendations to make our school the best for teachers, staff and students. It is part of our School Improvement Plan to increase the percentage of parents attending the monthly SAC meetings. SAC is not a fundraising based organization. Research has shown that when parents are involved in school, children go farther in school and the schools they go to are better!
