Breakfast Point Academy is located in Panama City Beach, Florida on 40 acres donated to Bay District Schools by The St. Joe Company. The name Breakfast Point reflects the history and geography of an area just north of the school property where there is a cape in West Bay, called Breakfast Point. There are plans for the St. Joe Company to develop a community by the same name.
Breakfast Point Academy is a public school designed for students pre-k through 8th grades. However, the school currently serves students through fifth grade.
At full capacity, the school can serve 1,200 students.
The school has 44 elementary classrooms with a bathroom and storage area in each room. There are 3 computer labs, 3 science labs, a band room, an enclosed middle school wing, cafeteria with large stage, and a state of the art media center with research centers. Breakfast Point students enjoy a beautiful 20,000 square feet gymnasium, tennis courts, and a covered pavilion.
