Stacy Watson

This is Mrs. Watson's fifth year teaching at Deer Point Elementary. She has taught both Kindergarten and Pre-K students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is certified in Preschool Education, Elementary Education, ESE and has an endorsement in Autism Education. Outside of school Mrs. Watson enjoys spending time on the water with her husband of 15 years and their two daughters Kearstin (13) and Kaydance (9). She is excited to begin another awesome year as an Angler.

Breanna Williams

Ms. Williams is originally from San Diego and has lived in Panama City for six years. She has a bachelor’s degree in education and has spent the last four years teaching pre-k in private schools. She has a passion for growing social-emotional skills with pre-k children and preparing them for a successful academic future. She is looking forward to applying her background in Positive Behavior Support and special needs early education at Deer Point.  

 

Jordan Whitley

Mrs. Whitley is entering her fifth year as an educator and second year as a proud Angler. She is certified in Exceptional Student Education and Language Arts. Mrs. Whitley desires to create a classroom environment that promotes high expectations for students while also supporting their social and emotional growth. Outside of the classroom Mrs. Whitley enjoys spending time at the beach and hiking with her husband and their black lab, Beau.

 Lori Bates

Mrs. Bates is thrilled to be joining the Deer Point family. She is passionate about teaching, and knows from experience that all children can reach their full potential in a loving and nurturing environment. When not at school, Mrs. Bates enjoys spending time with her family. She has a wonderful husband, 6 incredible children, 1 precious granddaughter, and 3 amazing dogs. 

 

Kelli Barnes

Kelli Barnes has been teaching for 13 years and this will be her 7th year at Deer Point Elementary. She has a master’s degree from Auburn University in Special Education with a focus on Autism. She believes that every child can be successful when given a structured and positive learning environment. She is married and has 3 children. She is originally from Birmingham, but moved to Dothan while in High School and graduated from Northview. She then moved to Auburn to attend college and lived there for 27 years. She has been in Panama City now for 6 years and LOVES boating and Shell Island.
