Student learning is our main priority at Hiland Park and is the
primary focus of all decisions impacting the work of the school.
We believe that each student is a valued individual with unique
physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs and that these
needs should be met through all educational, social, and technological
services available.
We believe that students at Hiland Park should be led to recognize
their rights and responsibilities to our democratic society. Each
child has the right to be respected, to develop his/her self worth,
and the responsibility to respect the rights of others.
We believe that teachers, administrators, parents, and the community
share the responsibility for the school's mission.
