Congratulations on reaching this important milestone. If all academic requirements are met, you may be eligible to participate in Haney’s Graduation Ceremony.  Please contact your Guidance Counselor to determine your graduation status and continue to work toward completing your credits.

Here are some important dates for graduation.  Please make sure you complete these requirements by the deadline.  The student activities fees that you paid with your tuition cover the cost of your cap, gown, tassel, and ten graduation announcements, however, you must still register for graduation during the dates below in order to participate.

April 12 - 19, 2018:   Register for Graduation in the Bookstore or Student Services

  • Order Graduation Cap, Gown, and Tassel.  The cap, gown and tassel will be yours to keep.  ALL graduates are expected to participate in the graduation ceremony. You may not participate in graduation without your cap and gown.
  • Order Graduation Announcements.  You will receive ten graduation announcements when you order your cap and gown.  If you wish to purchase additional announcements, the cost is $5 per ten announcements.  If you do not need additional announcements, you do not need to take any action.

  •  Order a DVD of the Graduation Ceremony.  This is an optional purchase.  DVD’s cost $10  and must be pre-ordered.   Pay and complete the form in Student Services when you order your cap and gown.  Leave a current address so that the DVD can be mailed to you in August.

All of the above items may be ordered in the Bookstore or Student Services in Building 1.

  • It is recommended that men wear dark trousers or khakis, a neatly-pressed, light colored dress shirt with a dark tie, dark socks, and dress shoes under the gown.  Ladies should wear a dress, skirt, or dark dress slacks with a light-colored blouse and dress shoes under the gown. Shorts, jeans, athletic shoes, and flip flops are to be avoided.  Remember that you will be climbing and descending stairs, so wear shoes that you can walk in comfortably and safely.
