| The following belief statements (in rank order) are pertinent to the faculty, parents and students of A. Crawford Mosley High School:
We believe that all students should have the opportunity to learn, achieve, and succeed. In order to facilitate student growth, effective communication among faculty, staff, students and parents must be continuous. Our faculty and staff are committed to providing students with a safe, orderly, and caring environment conducive to teaching and learning. Opportunities must be provided for faculty and staff to foster student learning through professional growth, educational innovations, and technological advancement. While continuing to provide an academically challenging program to our college bound students, we understand that a significant percentage of our population is comprised of students who are not academically focused and college bound. These students should be challenged and their varying academic and social needs should be addressed. We believe students' pride in their school and their involvement in extracurricular activities enhances learning and overall performance. We seek to instill in our students the qualities of character as well as the educational skills they will need to succeed in our multicultural world. NCLB School Public Accountability Reports Federal guidelines of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act require local agencies to meet new requirements for public reporting on the status of schools.
