Parents Should Begin Registering Their
Child for Bay District Schools Kindergarten Now.
Registration for children who will be attending Bay District
Schools’ kindergarten for the 2008-2009 school year
are requested to register their students as soon as possible.
Parents should register their children at their neighborhood
elementary school.
To attend kindergarten, students must be 5 years old
on or before September 1, 2008. To register, parents will
need to provide their child’s birth certificate
and social security number, and two proofs of residency.
On or before the first day of school, each kindergarten
student must present to the school a Florida Immunization
Certificate and proof of a physical examination dated
within the last 12 months. Both documents are provided
by the family doctor or health clinic that cares for the
child.
