Instructional Goals and Philosophy
It is my hope that I can better prepare our students for life by teaching them not only math skills but also critical thinking skills. I feel that if they can logically reason through a problem they are more likely to resolve the issue in a calm, responsible and civil manner.
Message to the Parents of My students
We are currently studying Geometry in math. We will be learning about polygons to include perimeter, area and volume. We will also be constructing actual three-dimensional polygons in class. We will revisit Algebra after we have completed our segment on Geometry. Please encourage our students to maintain the excellent work which has been displayed throughout this school year.
Upcoming Class Events
SPRING BREAK ---------------March 25, 2006 – April 2, 2006 We will return on April 3, 2006 to finish the school year.
