All employees and agents of a public school district, charter school, or private school have an obligation and legal responsibility to report misconduct by instructional personnel and school administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.  Likewise, all parents, vendors, and members of the public are encouraged to report any misconduct that may affect the health, safety, or welfare of a student.

2018-19 School Registration & Parent Portal Information

The 2018-19 Parent Portal school registration for new students and required yearly updates for existing students is now open.

Parents/Guardians are required to log in to the FOCUS Parent Portal account, review the 2018-19 parent registration information and disclaimer statements, and provide updates. Click

Is your student new to Bay District for the 2018-19 school year? Before you may register your student for school, you must first take the following documents to your zoned school:

  • Photo identification
  • Florida shot record
  • 2 proofs of residence 
  • birth certificate
  • physical (within 30 days).

This online application will direct families to the four main types of assistance the Department of Children and Families is responsible for: Food Assistance Program, Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid Programs and Refugee Assistance programs in the state of Florida. Please remember the Department of Children and Families ACCESS program determines eligibility.
