Child Care Handbook

Teen Parenting serves those young women who are pregnant or are teenage parents.  This program allows the student to receive parenting and nutrition classes, counseling, and special support during her pregnancy and, at the same time, continue her education.  Upon completion of the program, the student may receive free childcare for her baby at Rosenwald High School, while she returns to her home school or remain enrolled at Rosenwald. Students in the Teen Parenting Program are authorized to use district provided transportation services before and after their baby is delivered. Babies are also authorized to ride the bus using the appropriate car seat. The Rosenwald Childcare Center is supported by the Teen Parenting Program.
