School Times

The first bell rings at 7:45 AM and the tardy bell rings at 7:50 AM. Students arriving after 7:50 AM are expected to sign in at the school office. Students who ride bikes or walk are expected to arrive at school no later than 7:30 AM.
New dismissal times were started on October 19th, 2007. The new times are as follows: at 1:55pm, Kindergarten and 1st grade students will be dismissed to the car and bus loading zones; at 2:00pm, 2nd through 5th graders will be dismissed to the car and bus loading zones; at 2:05pm, buses will depart from the school.
If after-school transportation arrangements are changed, please notify your child's teacher in writing.
For the protection of our students, a parent/guardian or designated person must come by the office to sign the child out if it is necessary to leave school during the day.

Attendance

It is very important that students be in school unless they are sick or observing a religious holiday. If your child is absent more than five days, a doctor's excuse will be needed. Please refer to the Code of Student Conduct and Discipline for Bay County Schools for detailed attendance laws.
It is the responsibility of the parent/student to obtain any missed assignments due to any absences. Students have five (5) days following their return to school to complete these assignments.
