The Bay High School Mathematics Department offers a wide variety of mathematics courses to meet the needs of all of our students.  Our teachers are committed to helping all students to be successful in mathematics.  The General Curriculum Courses focus on the fundamental skills necessary to pass the FCAT and meet the graduation requirements; in addition, they give students the opportunity to prepare for post-secondary education.  The Dual-Enrollment Courses allow students to earn college math credit from Gulf Coast Community College while still in high school; entrance into these courses is dependent on completion of Algebra II and passing the college mathematics placement test.   The Honors Curriculum Courses give the advanced students more challenging content and preparation for university mathematics; the AP and AICE courses allow students to earn college credit based on national or international examinations at the end of each course.
