The Bay High School Science Department offers a wide variety of science courses that encourage exploration and inquiry in the sciences.

The science curriculum includes regular courses that focus on fundamental skills required for successful FCAT completion and graduation requirements. In addition, the courses give students the opportunity to prepare for post-secondary education. The Honors Curriculum courses give the advanced students more challenging content and preparation for university science. The Dual-Enrollment courses allow students to earn college science credit from Gulf Coast Community College while still in high school. The AP and AICE courses allow students to earn college credit based on national or international examinations at the end of each course.
