The Bay High School Social Studies Department is proud to offer a wide variety of courses.  Our class offerings range from the required classes for graduation to a number of choices that are considered electives.  We also offer classes at different levels to accommodate all of our students with varied skills and aptitudes including Dual Enrollment classes for college credit.  Our teachers have a wide experience of educational backgrounds from Bachelors Degrees to Masters Degrees and Educational Specialist Degrees.  We also come from a variety of past employment experiences including the police force, various business backgrounds, overseas teaching and the military to name a few.  We are a well rounded faculty that works well at providing an educational experience for our students that will effectively prepare them for either the workforce or college.  Our teachers also sponsor many of the organizations on campus and coach several of our athletic teams.  We work with students through Inter Club Council, National Honor Society, Cross Country Running, Girls’ Soccer and Student Government, as well as chaperoning many club and social events.  Members of the Social Studies department help other departments on campus in joint efforts to supervise trips, act as Masters of Ceremonies at special programs and pageants and finally to act as positive and encouraging role models for our students.  Our class offerings include:
