Bay High Civic Club

Making an impact...on purposeThe Bay High Civic Club is a student-led organization that gets involved in the community. This organization promotes civic responsibility and is designed to provide students with opportunities to further their interaction and affinity with the public and to promote a wide-spread interest and involvement with the surrounding neighborhoods, schools, businesses and other sectors of society.  It provides an outlet to develop leadership, responsibility, and loyalty to the school and community.

Current Projects:

  • Clothing Closet (maintain school uniforms on campus for students in need)
  • Step Team (routines are choreographed by members; students perform at pep rallies, basketball games, etc.)
  • Two Annual Fundraisers (the Hulahoopathon and the Ice Cream Social).
  • Participates in the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Program, Relay for Life, Heartwalk, and Kidfest.

 

Requirements: BHS student with at least a 2.0 GPA.

Meeting Time/Place: 2nd and 4th Mondays at 2:40 PM in Room 1204
