The Pelican, Bay High School's yearbook is published annually by our awesome staff of students under the direction of adviser Carol Rine. To be on the yearbook staff, you must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5, be in good standing with teachers and administrators, and have an immense amount of dedication. Every year, students must develop a theme, set up storyline, complete photo assignments, organize, market, sell, and distribute a book as well as sell advertisements and meet deadlines. Although yearbook is hard work, it allows you to become very involved in school activities and clubs and get to know others. Being on the yearbook staff at Bay High is quite a privilege.

- 9/25: Book price goes up to $60.00
- 11/1: Book price goes up to $65.00
- Yearbooks will no longer be on sale after Christmas.
- Personal ads are available! Sizes and prices for black and white ads include:
- 1/8 page: $50.00
- 1/4 page: $100.00
- 1/2 page: $175.00
- Full page: $250.00
- Double Spread: $500.00
We also offer color ads.
Students interested in Yearbook must meet the following criteria:
- Agree to sell a minimum of five business ads.
- Be available and willing to help sell yearbooks during scheduled sales days.
- Handle all yearbook equipment, including cameras, computers, printers, and other supplies with care and be responsible for replacement/repair if lost or damaged while in their possession.
- Understand that more than one missed deadline will result in removal from the class.
- Keep a minimum GPA of 2.5 for the entire year.
