Once every 9 weeks, Jinks Middle School will sponsor an academic awards ceremony for students who maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better. The PTO and School Advisory Council will provide a student reception immediately following each of these ceremonies.

Based upon their GPA, students will be inducted into the following clubs:

Bronze Club -------- 3.00 - 3.32 GPA
Silver Club ---------- 3.33 - 3.66 GPA
Gold Club ----------- 3.67 - 3.90 GPA
Platinum Club ------ 4.00 GPA

Typically, our awards ceremonies are held in the cafeteria on two separate days. Day one will be used to recognize 6th graders at 8:40 a.m. and 7th graders at 9:40 a.m. Day two will be used to honor 8th graders at 8:40 a.m.

Invitations will be sent to parents about one week prior to the event. All parents are encouraged to attend these ceremonies which last only an hour.
