Our library is a hub for learning at our school. We believe that in order to nurture the love of reading and learning, we must be an open facility for both teachers and students before, during, and after school. We also believe it is very important to maintain flexible hours during the day so that a student can use his/her library at any time. In order to provide the necessary resources for the most updated information, we have six multimedia computers which are networked and Internet accessible. Students and teachers may use these computers for Internet Research, Athena Searching (In library), AR testing, and word processing. Whether it is fiction or nonfiction, the most wonderful experience a child could have is to be swept away by a really great book. The media specialist (Ms. Scofield) looks forward to purchasing and introducing hundreds of new books every year to Oakland Terrace Students.
