Surfside Advisory Council

Want to Get Involved.  The School Advisory Council is the place.

The Advisory Council is a link between the school and local community.  It serves as the mechanism for participatory management through which the various stakeholders in the school community may assist the school.  Shared decision making among all constituents of the school community, both internal and external, can benefit the school and produce better student outcomes.  The stakeholders are parents, business people, students, other community interest, professional educators, and other school staff.  The School Advisory Council is a resource to the School and school principal.

Meeting Date & Place: 3:45 pm on the 2nd Monday of each month in the media center.

Officers: Katie Adair: Chairperson, Shay Miles: Co-Chairperson and Stacey Fontaine: Secretary

The School Advisory Council would like to thank all of the businesses and families that donated to the Faculty and Staff Appreciation at the end of the last school year. Please take a moment to look at the attached list and thank these wonderful donors.
