What is Title I?
Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) is the largest federal assistance program to our nation’s schools. ESEA was first established in 1965 and the most recent re-authorization in 2001 coined the phrase “No Child Left Behind” (NCLB). NCLB is built on four components: accountability for results, an emphasis on doing what works based on scientific research, expanded parental options and expanded local control and flexibility.  For more details click here:

Automated Community Connection to Economic Self-Sufficiency

Title I schools are pleased to announce the availability of computers at each school site for parent use.  This on-line application will direct families to the four main types of assistance the Department of Children and Families is responsible for:  Food Assistance Program, Temporary Cash Assistance, Medicaid Programs and Refugee Assistance programs in the state of FloridaPlease remember the Department of Children and Families ACCESS program determines eligibility.  The parent liaisons have been trained to assist you if needed in accessing these programs.
