Registration

Requirements for registering your child:

Students entering kindergarten for the first time must be five years old by September first of that year.

Please bring the following:

  • the birth certificate for age verification.
  • your child’s current report card from their previous school stating a promotion or retention status for the current/upcoming school year as well as the address and fax number so we can request additional records (if applicable).
  • Two proofs of residency (i.e. deed/lease or rental agreement, utility bill, bank statement, etc. **Active Duty Orders with the child's name listed on the orders will work as two proofs of residency as well.)
  • the child’s social security card for us to verify the number.
  • Registering Parent/guardian's driver's license (we can not accept Military IDs)
  • Physical exam - within thirty days of school entry the child must have a school physical. If you have the form for a physical dated within the previous twelve months, we can accept that.
  • Florida immunization record (Florida Form 680) - If moving from out-of-state, parents may take their current shot record to the Florida Department of Health, private doctor, or the immunization clinic on base to have their immunizations transferred to an official Florida shot record (Florida Form 680). We keep the Florida Form 680 in the child’s school health record.

Please note:

  • We like to give our teachers notice when a new student is coming so they can have books and a desk prepared. Stop by the school during the day before you plan to enter and bring these papers with you. There is a little more paperwork to do on site. If you come the day your child will enter, please arrive between 7 and 7:15 so the child can start at 7:25.
