Mrs. Wise Visual Arts

Tommy Smith Visual Art Classes provide students with engaging art production activities which allow students to gain proficiency with the Florida Visual Art Standards. Additionally, Math, English/Language Arts, Geography and History content is embedded throughout the art lessons as students experience the joy of making cross-curricular connections and the pleasure associated with self-expression.

Students have opportunities throughout the year to have their artwork exhibited in a variety of community art display venues including the Annual Paul Brent Fourth Grade Art Contest, the Annual Bay District Schools Best of Bay, the Annual Bay District Schools Student Art Exhibit at the Central Panhandle Fair and Art Displays at the Bay District Schools Administrative Building (Nelson Building).
